Interlinking in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a special type of combination attack that party members use to fuse together into a combative super form called Ouroboros. Players can increase the power of this Ouroboros form by using more fusion arts before interlinking. Using arts fills up something called the Heat Gauge; you don’t take any damage in Ouroboros form and it ends when a talent art is used or when you start to overheat.
How to Interlink in Battle in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Doing so is simple, just press left on the d-pad. An on-screen indicator lets you know if your interlink will be level 1, 2, or 3 so you can plan to use it when it’ll be at its best. Again, using Fusion Arts will increase this level, so it’s wise to power it up before unleashing it. Note that the level drops back down to 1 when the battle ends or you interlink. Also, keep in mind that interlinking goes through cooldown after use but can be used multiple times per battle.
