How to Get Luminescent Pollen in Genshin Impact
Like other materials in the game, there are two key methods for getting Luminescent Pollen in Genshin Impact. The first is to get it as a drop from Sumeru’s Fungi enemies that are level 40 or higher. The elemental variant of the Fungi doesn’t affect the drop rate, so you won’t need to limit yourself to a specific spawn area. We recommend grinding through the smaller Fungi enemies whenever possible, though, as they’re easier to kill and can allow you to farm up resources with minimal hassle. The other method is to craft Luminescent Pollen. You’ll need 3 Fungal Spores and 50 Mora to make one helping of Luminescent Pollen, but you can replicate this method as many times as you wish. Fungal Spores are easy enough to get as drops from any Fungi enemies, while Mora should be raining on you like a monsoon if you’ve been playing long enough. As such, you should have no problem acquiring a surplus of Luminescent Pollen with a few hours of grinding.
What Luminescent Pollen Is Used for
This is a good thing too, because Luminescent Pollen is used in abundance for some pretty vital ascensions in Genshin Impact. First and foremost, it can be used to ascend the level cap and the Dendro Talents of the player character and the newly Introduced Tighnari. Both require 52 helpings of Luminescent Pollen in all, for a total of 104 pieces of the material needed to ascend both fully. Likewise, the glowing powder is necessary to ascend the End of the Line bow and the Fruit of Fulfillment Catalyst. Both weapons require 15 pieces of Luminescent Pollen to progress their ascension tracks, totaling 32 pieces in all. This leaves you at a grand total of 136 pieces of the material needed if you want to max out both characters and weapons, and that’s not even considering the Fungal Spores and Crystalline Cyst Dust you’ll also need to hunt down.
